Cora E Braynon Family Health Center and CHS Outreach Services collaborate across departmental lines to host a series of baby showers for young, at-risk families that use CEBFHC as their access point for prenatal and pediatric care. This series of baby showers is integral part of the patient retention strategy used to build additional brand loyalty among our local prenatal population who seek maternity and pediatric services. Vanessa Figueroa gave an overview of water safety education and drowning prevention measures available to our active audience of seventy pregnant women; thereby, decreasing the incidence of drowning accidents among young children.
