Broward County Parks and Recreation Department and other collaborative human service agencies hosted the 5th Annual Soup and Salad Bowl event at Franklin Park, to build additional awareness on wrap around services available to seniors of color (SOC) who live in the northern two thirds of Broward County. Broward Health Imperial Point and Broward Health CHS actively participated in the event to share information on senior-focused healthcare and educational programming. Broward Health provided 250 bottles of water as an in-kind contribution to the effort, as well as confidential HIV testing plus pre/post test counseling.
