MODCO will host a lecture at Mount Nebo Baptist Church to build awareness among men and women of color, in a faith based setting, concerning breast health promotion and ways to gain access to free/reduced price mammograms for family members In addition, we will distribute collateral material to attendees on breast cancer prevention and early detection options, for people who may think they are susceptible to the onset of breast cancer. Lauderdale Lakes Health Center and Cora E Braynon Family Health Center were positioned as a medical home for men and women of color requiring primary care services and additional wrap around service linkage.
