MODCO and CHS Outreach Services are facilitating a series of seminars, targeting seniors located in central Broward County, who want additional information on BSO initiatives, as well as fire safety prevention measures. Broward Sheriff Office provided an in-depth conversation on fire prevention because fires can create traumatic events, leading to episodic care being rendered in the ER. Our objective was to educate seniors on fire hazards around their homes, to further prevent the occurrence of fires and catastrophic events.
