MODCO Senior Connection hosted a workshop on current issues and trends that influence the quality of life of seniors in the community. In Broward County, there are many changes amidst that have a direct and indirect effect on the lives of seniors which should be addressed. This workshop allowed seniors to state their concerns and recommendations toward improving the quality of life in neighborhoods possessing a high incidence of crime and rising cost associated with maintaining a household on a fixed income.
