MODCO Senior Connection Pompano hosted a workshop concerning food preparation techniques and a healthy cooking demonstration, for seniors, who were in need of additional information on healthy ways to prepare healthy diet options. Broward Health provided a platform for a healthy cooking demonstration among elderly residents living in northern Broward County. In addition, Annie L. Weaver Health Center and Margate Health Center were positioned as primary care options for at-risk families, living in close proximity to the church.
