MODCO Senior Connection Pedestrian Safety is a presentation dedicated toward educating seniors on pedestrian safety techniques that will allow local citizens to know more about protecting themselves from traumatic injury. Broward County has a high incidence of pedestrian injuries based on recent statistics. Therefore, BHCHS Outreach Services coordinated a workshop to discuss pedestrian safety concerns that seniors may possess on the topic. In addition, Cora E. Braynon Family Health Center and Lauderdale Lakes Health Center were positioned as access points for wrap around services for seniors.
