MODCO Senior Connection hosted a workshop on organizing one's environment to achieve a safer and more positive outlook, pertaining to their health. Hoarding has become a significant concern among seniors as they grapple with depression from the loss of loved ones. In addition, clutter can cause trip hazards within a senior's home environment, leading to trauma and emergency room visits. BHCHS Outreach Services provided a presenter who could help seniors understand the challenges and pitfalls of clutter within their homes.
