MODCO Senior Connection hosted a fraud prevention workshop for seniors to address their concerns, pertaining to fraud and scams that are prevalent in the local community. Broward Sherriff Office explained scams and fraud schemes that are executed among seniors by individuals seeking to take advantage of seniors who may be unsuspecting of people seeking to betray their trust. This workshop is an add-on wrap around services provided by BHCHS to better equip seniors on what they need to know to fully insulate themselves from fraudulent behavior.
