Mount Bethel Baptist Church hosted a seminar on real estate tax exemptions available to seniors residing in Broward County. The Broward County Tax Appraiser provides outreach to special populations who are interested in reducing their real estate taxes. Often, seniors have tax exemptions that they do not realize are afforded to them. BHCHS facilitated a presentation on behalf of seniors who are interested in finding out about tax exemptions which is a wrap around services, leading to combatting homelessness among seniors and their families.
