Description

The Cancer Survivorship Dinner is an annual event, in which Cancer survivors come together with physicians, clinicians and other caregivers from the Comprehensive Cancer of Broward Health North to share their stories. All of these survivors are former patients of Broward Health North. Current cancer patients are also invited to hear the survivors share their stories and provide them with hope and encouragement to beat cancer. This started as a little get together in 2011 and we provided the patients with a Homestyle Spaghetti Dinner. Since 2011, we have continued the tradition of providing the Homestyle Spaghetti dinner and this event will be our 9th annual Survivorship Dinner. Each year the attendance of the event has grown and this year we expect over 100 survivors to attend. Patients look forward to connecting with other patients, staff members and their families.
