Broward Health Welcomes New Leaders

Fort Lauderdale, Florida -- Broward Health Imperial Point has announced Joseph Paul, CGMA, AICPA, as its new Chief Financial Officer and Christina Grove, MBA, MHA, as Broward Health's new Executive Director of Physician Practices and Urgent Care. Romaine Layne, who most recently served as CFO at Broward Health Imperial Point has been promoted to the position of CFO for the Ambulatory Services Division of Broward Health.

As CFO of Broward Health Imperial Point, Paul will be responsible for the financial operations of the 200-bed acute care hospital in Fort Lauderdale, which offers medical-surgical inpatient care, behavioral health services and a wide variety of outpatient services.

A certified chartered global management accountant, Paul has more than 20 years of hospital financial leadership experience with nationally recognized healthcare organizations. Prior to joining Broward Health Imperial Point, Paul served as CFO, CSO (Chief Staffing Officer) and Compliance Officer for Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. Previously he spent 11 years serving in financial positions in HCA hospitals throughout Florida.

Paul graduated from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics before completing post graduate work at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

In her new role as Executive Director of Physician Practices and Urgent Care, Grove will oversee operations for primary care, medical, surgical and cardiac products lines, imaging centers, and urgent care.

A skilled healthcare executive with 20 years of leadership experience in physician practice, hospital-based and other physician related settings, Grove most recently served as market operations director for Tenet Physician Resources, where she provided market leadership and oversight for a multi-specialty physician group, which supported five hospitals in the Palm Beach County area.

Grove earned her master's degree in health care administration and her master's degree in business administration from Columbia Southern University. She also earned her bachelors' degree in organizational management from Palm Beach Atlantic University, as well as her practical nursing degree from Middlesex School of Nursing.
