FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA - Children Diagnostics & Treatment Center (CDTC) was awarded a Sapphire Award at the 17th annual Florida Blue Foundation Sapphire Awards ceremony in Orlando on May 4. As part of the award, the Florida Blue Foundation granted a total of $500,000 to seven recipients, including CDTC, to advance innovative programs improving health equity in our community.
"CDTC is beyond proud to have received second place in the Sapphire Awards," said Ana Calderon Randazzo, Ph.D., executive director of Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center. "Our goal is to reduce health disparities among families of children with special needs, regardless of a family's ability to pay, will be furthered by this grant and recognition."
The Sapphire Awards recognize programs, organizations, and individuals whose services are recognized by outstanding leadership, innovation, and documented impacts in health equity.
