Coral Springs, Florida -- Broward Health Coral Springs has named Maureen Martin its new Chief Financial Officer. Martin is a strategic leader with more than 30 years of experience managing hospitals' operating revenues.
Martin, who started Aug. 5, will provide financial direction to the 250-bed hospital that features a women’s center, a surgical institute and the Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital.
“Broward Health is a committed and compassionate provider of healthcare for all,” said Martin. “I’m incredibly humbled to be part of a system that values community service and collaboration.”
Martin most-recently worked at St. Vincent HealthCare in Jacksonville, Fla., where she was the vice president of finance for the last four years. She also worked for Miami Children’s Health Systems and in Columbus, Ohio, at OhioHealth, Mount Carmel Health System and Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Jared Smith, CEO, Broward Health Coral Springs, is excited Martin joined the hospital and will seek to continue to align the hospital’s finances with the community’s needs. “She is already looking for ways to enhance the services we provide our patients,” Smith said. “I’m thrilled to welcome such a proven and dynamic leader to Broward Health Coral Springs.”
Martin has a Master of Business Administration from Capital University and received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University.
