Dr. Helena Gaviria. I am a pediatrician and an Integrative nutrition health coach.

What motivates you to come to work each day?
The fact that we do really impact the lives of families, not only from a medical perspective, but for individuals who have different needs.
Please share your favorite CDTC moment so far:
The mom of a patient who was being evaluated at Early Steps. She was very thankful after her child's issues and her concerns were addressed.
What advice would you give to a new employee just starting their career in healthcare?
I would advise to never forget that our job is to do what's in the best interest of the patient.
How do you like to relax?
I like to do yoga, meditate, workout, read a good book, and play outside with my son.
What are you most proud of personally or professionally?
I am very proud of being able to get this far as an international medical student. I am also proud of being part of CDTC, as this is what I have always wanted to do with my career as a physician.
What is on your music playlist?
I prefer Latin music in general.
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
Bob Proctor. I would love to be coached by him. He is so wise and has achieved a lot in life so far.
