What motivates me to come to work each day: The opportunity to provide compassionate support for our patients, families and our Broward Health Medical Center staff.
My favorite Broward Health moment: My favorite Broward Health Medical Center moment is when we worked as a team during a crisis. Our staff was on point and worked together to provide excellent medical care, emotional and spiritual support for our community.
Some advice I’d give to a new employee just starting their career in healthcare: Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
How I like to relax: Films, travel, reading, nature.
What I’m most proud of personally or professionally: Following my dreams and becoming a nurse.
What’s on my playlist: I listen to all genres, everything from reggaeton, rock, R & B, soul, gospel, hip hop to Ed Sheeran, country and Gregorian chant.
If I could have dinner with anyone in the world, alive or dead, it would be: Dr. Stephen Hawking. He had a brilliant mind and contributed greatly to our understanding of the universe. He felt that intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.
