Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -- Florida Governor Rick Scott has appointed Ray Berry to the North Broward Hospital District (NBHD) board of commissioners. His term began May 11, 2018, and will end June 29, 2021.
Berry, a Davie resident, is the founder and chief executive officer of Health Business Solutions (HBS), a denial management and transitional outsourcing company empowering organizations to build financial strength through performance-based revenue cycle management.
With more than 25 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management in both the hospital and payer environment, HBS is Berry’s third start-up company as a founding executive. Prior to HBS, he was the Florida regional administrator of behavioral healthcare for the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services and remains active serving on various boards in the behavioral healthcare sector. Berry is a graduate of University of Central Florida.

Berry joins Chairman Andrew Klein and Commissioners Christopher Ure, Steven Wellins and Nancy Gregoire in serving on the board that governs the NBHD, which does business under the name Broward Health.
