Step Out with Judy

Judy Zavatsky signed up for the upcoming Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes in memory of her close friend, Sheila, who recently passed away due to complications from diabetes. Sheila was 55.

"Sheila was wonderful, kind and funny," said Judy, Broward Health Medical Center's regional manager of radiology. "She went through a lot, but she was always optimistic and pleasant."

Judy is encouraging her fellow co-workers to sign up for the walk to help raise awareness diabetes and raise money to support research and education.

“Diabetes is a disease that is relentless,” Judy said. “Treatments have come a long way, but with our donations to the American Diabetes Association, research will continue until a cure is found.”

Join Judy on October 20 at the Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes at Huzienga Park in Fort Lauderdale. Register here: https://bit.ly/2P10Vyc
