"It was a Pleasant Experience"
For Mike McDonough, Broward Health’s Urgent Care Centers have been a safe and convenient choice for when he and his family needed medical attention.
“It was the first weekend of the COVID-19 lockdown and my daughter fell off her push scooter. We went to Broward Health Weston Urgent Care. There was no wait. It was a pleasant experience,” said Mike who is a systems analyst at Broward Health. “We followed up with an orthopedist who addressed her buckle fracture.”
The next time I needed urgent care was when I sprained my ankles the second weekend of May. Again, there was no wait and I had X-rays completed that showed, thankfully, no broken bones,” he said. “Everyone at the center was using proper precautions. Both staff and patients were masked, and clinicians were gloved.”
“For the sake of our bones, I’m hoping we won’t have to return so quickly. But if we do, I know we’ll be in good hands,” Mike said.
