Welcome from the Program Director
Dear Fellowship Candidate,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program. Our mission is to train the next generation of hematologists and oncologists in a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment. We are dedicated to equipping our fellows with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to become outstanding clinicians and leaders in the field.
Our campus is located in beautiful Deerfield Beach, South Florida—just minutes from the ocean and within close proximity to Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and West Palm Beach. This vibrant and diverse region offers a unique setting for both personal and professional growth.
Broward Health is one of the twenty largest public health systems in the United States. Broward Health North, our primary training site, is a 409-bed Level II trauma center offering a wide range of medical and surgical subspecialties.
Our fellowship program is thoughtfully designed to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded training experience. Fellows benefit from broad clinical exposure, in-depth didactic education, and meaningful research opportunities tailored to their interests and career aspirations.
We are committed to building a strong foundation in the core principles of hematology and oncology while incorporating the latest advances in the field. Our flexible and adaptive curriculum allows us to meet the evolving needs of our trainees and the demands of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.
We look forward to supporting you on your journey toward a fulfilling and impactful career as a hematologist and oncologist.
