The Broward Health Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) supports all our residency and fellowship programs, faculty, residents, fellows and students by providing centralized administrative services and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards including ACGME, CODA and ASHP requirements.

The Office of GME is committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities in a unique clinical learning environment overseen by Patricia Rowe-King, MD, FAAP, the Designated Institutional Official; Joel L. Rush, DO, FAOAO, Associate Designated Institutional Official; Tatiana Garcia, BA, C-TAGME, Director of Graduate Medical Education at Broward Health Medical Center/Broward Health Coral Springs; and Bibiana Avendano, MHA, C-TAGME, Director of Graduate Medical Education at Broward Health North/Broward Health Imperial Point. The GME office fosters exceptional clinical training opportunities in a dynamic, complex healthcare environment.

Broward Health has been providing healthcare to the community since 1938 and has expanded its services to meet the growing demand of the community. Broward Health is a large public, non-profit multi-hospital system comprised of four hospitals—Broward Health Medical Center, Broward Health North, Broward Health Imperial Point and Broward Health Coral Springs—and over 30 urgent care and outpatient/ambulatory care centers. Broward Health is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of those we serve.
