Broward Health’s Hospital Opioid Bridge Program was designed to connect our substance abuse treatment center with members of our South Florida community who are medically underserved, uninsured or underinsured and come in seeking treatment for addiction or dual disorders through one of our emergency departments.
The Bridge provides medication-assisted treatment or MAT, like suboxone, to help treat opioid withdrawals. After that, we connect you with resources in the community to continue treatment or refer you to our iMATR clinic at Broward Health Medical if you’re uninsured.
