The therapists at Broward Health Rehabilitation Institute provide one-on-one treatment sessions – physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy – for each patient as part of your recovery process. Based on your personal needs and rehab goals, you’ll have at least three hours of therapeutic rehab per day, five days per week.
Our caregiver training program, ARC, prepares families across South Florida to participate in their loved one’s care following a stroke, TBI, or head and neck cancer. Our staff of therapists – including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists – provide caregivers with training throughout the rehab process. Helping them gain the confidence and skills needed to continue assisting with the healing journey after the patient’s discharged from our facility.
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) publicly reports data about the quality of inpatient rehab facilities. In this reporting, our patients at the Rehabilitation Institute consistently meet a higher percentage of their expected rehabilitation goals – in self-care and mobility. Beating both the national average and other local facilities’ outcomes.

The national average is 15.6 days in rehab therapy for stroke patients. We help you progress on from care in 13.9.
