Welcome to the Broward Health Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program!

This program is well known and highly coveted for the following pillars it offers: Access to a community composed of a rich mix of ethnic and cultural backgrounds from South Florida, the Caribbean, Central and South America, the Northern U.S., Canada, and worldwide seasonal tourists. Opportunities to hone your clinical skills are endless, thanks to the multiplicity of cases seen in the surrounding communities.

The environment is conducive for every fellow to reach their full potential—excellently structured rounds, relevant conferences, regular presentation of research papers, clinical trials guided by the vast experience of our faculty, and more. Our practice is patient-centered. Integrity forms the foundation of our identity. We pride ourselves on our respect for the sanctity of human life.

Our graduating fellows exhibit a caring and comforting attitude toward patients. About the Program

The Cardiovascular Fellowship Program at Broward Health Medical Center is a comprehensive, ACGME-accredited three-year training experience that combines clinical excellence with academic rigor. Designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in cardiovascular medicine, the program offers fellows a rich educational environment, access to advanced technology and mentorship from renowned faculty in a dynamic, urban healthcare setting.

World-Class Training & Mentorship

Our faculty comprises experienced and nationally recognized cardiologists dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care and education. Fellows benefit from close mentorship in subspecialties including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, structural heart disease and cardiac imaging.


Diverse Clinical Exposure

Located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Broward Health Medical Center serves a diverse patient population with a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. Fellows rotate through high-volume inpatient and outpatient services, gaining robust experience in complex cardiovascular pathology and procedural skills.

Research & Scholarly Activity

We emphasize academic development through ongoing research opportunities in clinical trials, outcomes research and quality improvement. Fellows are encouraged to present at national conferences and contribute to peer-reviewed publications, with strong support from our faculty and institutional resources.
