Welcome from the Program Director
Dear Applicants,
Thank you for your interest in the Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery Residency Program at Broward Health. It is a privilege to introduce you to our dynamic and comprehensive five-year training program, where we are committed to shaping the next generation of skilled, compassionate, and forward-thinking otolaryngologists.
At Broward Health, our mission is to deliver exceptional clinical education in a collaborative and inclusive environment. We prepare residents to thrive across a variety of professional pathways—whether in private practice, academic medicine, or competitive fellowship programs.
Our curriculum offers a unique blend of immersive surgical training, academic excellence, and longitudinal patient care. Residents work closely with dedicated faculty across all major ENT subspecialties—including otology, rhinology, head and neck surgical oncology, laryngology, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. With progressive surgical autonomy, diverse clinical exposure, and personalized mentorship, our residents develop into confident and compassionate physicians.
We also emphasize innovation, academic inquiry, and professional development. Residents benefit from access to cutting-edge surgical technologies, hands-on simulation training, and robust research opportunities that support continuous growth and lifelong learning. Above all, we foster a culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence in patient care.
Located in the heart of South Florida, Broward Health serves a vibrant, diverse patient population, providing a rich clinical training experience filled with both complexity and volume.
As Program Director, I am personally dedicated to supporting each resident’s success and well-being throughout their journey. I encourage you to explore the opportunities our program offers and to discover what makes Broward Health an exceptional place to train, grow, and lead in the field of otolaryngology.
