The Broward Health Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) supports our residency and fellowship programs, faculty, residents, fellows and students across Broward County and South Florida. As one of the largest public healthcare systems in the United States, Broward Health provides centralized administrative services and ensures compliance with accreditation standards including ACGME, CODA and ASHP requirements.

Located across Broward County in South Florida, Broward Health offers residents and fellows a dynamic clinical learning environment with exposure to diverse patient populations, advanced technologies and high-acuity care across hospitals, outpatient centers and urgent care locations throughout the region.

The Office of GME is committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities in a unique clinical learning environment overseen by Patricia Rowe-King, MD, FAAP, the Designated Institutional Official; Joel L. Rush, DO, FAOAO, Associate Designated Institutional Official; Tatiana Garcia, BA, C-TAGME, Director of Graduate Medical Education at Broward Health Medical Center/Broward Health Coral Springs; and Bibiana Avendano, MHA, C-TAGME, Director of Graduate Medical Education at Broward Health North/Broward Health Imperial Point. The GME office fosters exceptional clinical training opportunities in a dynamic, complex healthcare environment.
