Broward Health’s Graduate Administrative Internship provides a robust and dynamic learning environment with hands-on exposure to healthcare administration.
Interns work on short- and long-term projects that support hospital and departmental needs while gaining insight into Broward Health’s operations, mission, vision and values.
Through collaboration with senior leaders and executives, interns gain firsthand insight into the leadership, coordination and decision-making required to operate one of the largest public healthcare systems in the nation.
Graduate Administrative Internship at a Glance
While each internship experience varies by department, all interns can expect opportunities to:
Work With a Senior Leader
Work closely with a preceptor from the hospital or physician group’s senior leadership team
Take On Real Projects
Complete meaningful projects that support organizational priorities, such as operating room optimization, patient technology analysis and service line financial analysis
Rotate Across Departments
Participate in rotations across hospital departments and with members of executive leadership
Build Your Network
Build professional relationships while gaining exposure to a wide range of healthcare careers and leadership perspectives
