Broward Health Program for Homeless Named 'Health Center Quality Leader'

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Broward Health's Health Care for the Homeless program, recently received the Quality Improvement Award from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Health Care for the Homeless, which offers medical care and other services to Broward County's homeless population, is a "Health Center Quality Leader" in the bronze tier. This honor recognizes the best overall clinical performance among the nation's top 30 percent of health centers. The Quality Improvement Award celebrates more than 1,300 health centers across the country that provide high-quality care to nearly 30 million patients.
