Health Care for the Homeless Program Recognized as a "Quality Leader"

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Broward Health's Health Care for the Homeless received the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Quality Improvement Award. The award acknowledges the overall quality, efficiency and value of the care services provided by the more than 1,3800 health centers in the United States. The recognition also celebrates the centers' recent achievements in providing high quality care to nearly 30 million patients across the nation.

In September, Broward Health's Health Care for the Homeless Program was recognized as a "Health Center Quality Leader" in September and received the Bronze Award distinguishing itself among the top 30% of health centers nationally for its work.
