Pastoral Care Mission
At Broward Health, our chaplains provide spiritual care that honors every person’s faith, beliefs, and values. Working alongside our healthcare teams, we support patients, families, and staff as they face the emotional and spiritual challenges of illness and healing.
We help individuals find comfort, meaning, and hope through their own spiritual or faith traditions. Chaplains are available to offer guidance, prayer, or simply a caring presence 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Chaplain Services by Location
Each Broward Health hospital provides a welcoming space for prayer, reflection, and connection. Our chaplains are available to support patients, families, and staff whenever comfort or guidance is needed.
Broward Health Medical Center
The chapel, located on the first floor, offers a quiet place for peace and reflection.
Chaplains provide pastoral visits and emotional and spiritual support during times of illness, crisis, or loss.
Upon request, special services such as emergency baptisms, naming ceremonies, blessings, and referrals to community faith leaders are also available.
Broward Health Coral Springs
Pastoral care is available to all patients and families.
The chapel, located in the main lobby on the first floor, is open 24 hours a day for private prayer or quiet reflection.
Broward Health North
Broward Health North offers a Sabbath room stocked with Kosher food and a chapel on the first floor.
Chaplains are available around the clock to provide spiritual care, comfort, and support.

At Broward Health Imperial Point, pastoral care and rabbinical support are available to meet the spiritual needs of patients and families.
