Lung Cancer Screening

If you're a smoker or former smoker, you might be concerned about lung cancer, which is the leading cause of cancer deaths. It often goes undetected until it has spread, making early detection crucial. A low-dose CT scan can help identify lung cancer at an early, more treatable stage.

Low-Dose CT Screenings

Broward Health Medical Center, Broward Health North, Broward Health Coral Springs, Broward Health Imperial Point, and Broward Health Weston are offering low-dose CT lung screenings to those at high risk for lung cancer. Low-dose CT lung screenings lower the risk of dying from lung cancer. They are quick, easy and require minimal amounts of radiation exposure. This screening is now covered by some insurance plans.
