Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Two commissioners have been appointed to the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners, which oversees Broward Health. On May 20, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Paul Tanner and the re-appointment of Board Chair Stacy Angier. The board formally welcomed the commissioners at its monthly meeting on May 25.

Angier, who was first appointed to the Broward Health board in 2018, also serves as a board member for Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center, a non-profit subsidiary of Broward Health, and is a board member of the League of Christian Schools. Angier is the principal of Abundant Life Christian Academy in Margate and earned her bachelor’s degree from Miami Christian College and a master’s degree from Oral Roberts University.
Tanner is owner and founder of Las Olas Capital Advisors, a wealth management and investment advisory firm. Most recently, he served on the board of the Florida Development Finance Corporation, appointed by Gov. DeSantis. Tanner is a registered, licensed securities broker dealer and investment advisor in three states. Tanner is on the board of directors for the Urban League of Broward County. He earned his bachelor’s degrees in political science from Florida Atlantic University.
