Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Broward Heath hosted its seventh annual Broward Health Cardiovascular Symposium on February 22 at GalleryOne in Fort Lauderdale. More than 250 physicians and healthcare professionals attended the conference, which provided the latest information on cardiovascular practices and procedures.
“Broward Health is leading the way on cardiac health in Broward County, and this symposium reinforces our commitment to bringing the latest medical advancements to our community," said Jenna Merlucci, FACHE, vice president of heart & vascular services at Broward Health.
This year’s conference directors were Kenneth Herskowitz, M.D., medical director of cardiovascular surgery at Broward Health Medical Center, and Ahmed Osman, M.D., cardiologist-electrophysiologist at Broward Health Medical Center.
“The symposium serves as an essential platform for healthcare professionals to collaborate, share insights and learn from one another, ultimately ensuring our patients receive the best possible cardiac care,” Dr. Herskowitz said.
