Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -- Beth Cherry has been named senior vice president of physician services at Broward Health. Cherry, who previously served as vice president of physician services, was promoted to oversee all ambulatory operations at Broward Health, including the Broward Health Physician Group, Broward Health Community Health Services, Broward Health Weston, Broward Health Urgent Care and other outpatient centers.
Cherry is tasked with bringing all ambulatory services under one umbrella to ensure there is a consistent level of high-quality care and access to care. She will also continue to build the Broward Health Physician Group, identifying new talent while bringing the group into a system model rather than a hospital model.
Cherry has already reorganized Broward Health Physician Group’s billing and coding processes to improve accurate and timely billing. In addition, Cherry is also working on the expansion of Broward Health’s call center to improve patient access.

Prior to joining Broward Health, Cherry was the administrator of physician integration, community practices, Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She has a Master of Science in nursing from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Capital University and is a certified medical practice executive.
