North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners Reelect Officers

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - The North Broward Hospital District  Board of Commissioners, which jointly supervises Broward Health, unanimously reelected its officers at the July board meeting. Christopher Pernicano was elected Chair, Paul Tanner was elected Vice Chair and Jonathan Hage was elected Secretary/Treasurer. The board has additional commissioners, including Nancy Stamper, Ray Berry and Stacy Angier.

Pernicano, a Fort Lauderdale resident, has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2021. He is chief technology officer of Synergist Technology, a leading provider in Artificial Intelligence governance and compliance to drive transformative change in various industries.

Tanner, a Fort Lauderdale resident, has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2022. He is the owner and founder of Las Olas Capital Advisors and has sourced and raised more than $2.5 billion in capital via private equity funds, private investors and institutional investors over the last 10 years.

Hage, a Fort Lauderdale resident, has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2021. He is the founder and CEO of Charter Schools USA, one of the nation’s largest and highest-performing education companies that encompasses 10,000 team members educating 80,000 students in 100 schools across five states.

Stamper, a Coral Springs resident, has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2017. She is a partner at Birnbaum, Lippman & Gregoire, PLLC where she specializes in appeals and litigation support. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and a board certified appellate attorney.

Berry, a Davie resident, has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2018. With more than 30 years of experience, he is the CEO and founder of Health Business Solutions, LLC, an innovative outsourced denial management solution for hospitals and physician practices.

Angier, a Margate resident, has served on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners since 2018. She is the principal of Christian Life Academy, a spirit-led elementary school that aims to provide a quality Christian education for students.
