The Emergency Department at Broward Health Medical Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a Level I Trauma Center, our specialized team provides advanced care for life-threatening injuries, sudden illnesses and other medical emergencies.

View the Full ScheduleA retail outpatient pharmacy is located in the main lobby of the hospital, offering convenient access for patients, visitors and the community. Services include prescription medications, over-the-counter items and medical supplies, along with medication consultations, assistance with enrollment in support programs and home delivery where available.

- Monday–Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM - 4:30 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Visiting hours may vary depending on the hospital unit and patient needs. Some areas, such as intensive care or maternity units, may have specific guidelines to support patient safety and recovery. Visitors are encouraged to check with the patient’s care team or hospital staff before arriving.

- Saturday–Sunday: Lunch 11 AM – 2 PM

- Monday–Friday: Late Night Grill 7 PM – 11 PM
A gift shop is available on-site, offering a selection of flowers, snacks and personal items for patients and visitors.

The Broward Health Fitness Center is located on the 8th floor of the Physician Office Building at Broward Health Medical Center. Memberships start at $40/month and include fitness classes, educational lectures, showers and a parking pass.
