What to Expect at the Hospital

CAN I VISIT SOMEONE IN THE HOSPITAL?

As our community reopens and we accommodate more elective procedures, the safety of our patients, employees and guests remains our top priority. Effective immediately, our visitation policy is revised with enhancements designed to protect our caregivers and the community we serve:

IS THERE SOCIAL DISTANCING IN THE WAITING ROOMS?

Registration and waiting areas may be redesigned to reflect social distancing standards.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?

For the protection of our patients and caregivers, all those entering a Broward Health location must wear a face covering. Patients arriving for their appointments are asked to wear a mask from home. Patients who don’t have a mask should arrive with a mouth and nose covering and will be provided with a mask.

DOES THE STAFF AT BROWARD HEALTH WEAR MASKS?

All healthcare workers in Broward Health hospitals, clinics and physician offices wear masks regardless of their role within the facility. Our screening measures and dedicated Employee Health Department ensure all staff are healthy.

IS THERE VALET PARKING?

Yes, we are currently providing valet services.
